ChatBot for WordPress (formerly known as “WP Chatbot”): This plugin offers a straightforward way to add a chatbot to your WordPress site. It includes pre-built chatbot templates and supports integration with various AI platforms, making it suitable for businesses of different sizes.
What about a more powerful search? AJAX, select specific users, categories, and topics are all useful functions.
There are some good BB Press plugins that can do that out of the box (Ajax Search and GD Power Search come to mind).
The ability to link to a specific comment would be useful, too. I know we can add a link to a specific section of the page using Google Chrome, but it’s not universal.
Genesis Framework has not been updated to a new version for quite a long time. The last time was more than a year ago. It seems that it is no longer the focus of developers after being acquired by WPEngine.
I am also using Genesis Framework for my blog (https://wpcanban.com) and developing a child theme called Paradise (https://wpcanban.com/mua-paradise-child-theme). It would be a big loss if the Genesis Framework was forgotten.
I don’t get notifications (via email) on threads that I check the ‘notify box’ on. Does it work for anyone else?
Multumesc Daniel!
Thanks for the kind words!
I’ll post again (too bad I cannot edit my last reply) since I just came across a quick review of Jetpack AI, posted last night by someone (Matt Medeiros) who is more objective than me on this topic :). If you wanted a quick overview of what the plugin can do, I think this is a good video to watch.
Disclaimer: I work on the Jetpack team, so I’m biaised. :)
If you use Elementor or Divi on your site, you should probably try their dedicated solutions, Elementor AI and Divi AI, since they’re well integrated into the builders.
If you do not use such a builder, I would recommend Jetpack AI. It offers quite a few features already, and is actively developed, we add more features in every plugin update. For now, you have access to the following features:
- Translations
- Get feedback on your content
- Adjust tone
- Get help creating forms
- Get help crafting titles
- And more
- Running Woo on WP on Pair.com shared hosting with a free theme and free plugins is about $96 a year.
Shopify’s cheapest plan is $468 a year.
- I’m hoping you are right and that some new upgrade of WP does not ‘brick’ our Genesis site forcing us to go to Astra or Kadence or whatever the “hot theme of the day” is.
- Yes we all have our own standards for tooling. Our clients do not like the subscription model. They are happy to pay once for the theme but expect to receive security or operational updates for life, but not new features.
If new features are offered for an upgrade price, fine. But our clients don’t want to pay a yearly subscription for features that they don’t want or need. Bottom line our client base is basically very frugal… aka struggling startups.
Our e-com sites start at $2,000 and go up from there depending on how many products we have to input. Adding an extra $50 per year renewal fee (what Astra charges) for five years (projected life of site)… $250 is more than our clients want to pay when they are not convinced there is any real value in this fee for them.
We’ve been doing sites for our particular client base (mostly small book publishers) for 14 years now and I’ve tried to pitch the subscription model, but it just does not fly in our market. I hope it does in your market.
YMMV
There is a decent chatbot plugin from Meowapps,
But after doing some testing with it, I find it to be a little unpredictable. This isn’t a problem with the plugin itself, but rather the nature of using the Open AI language model. You can spend time and fine-tune it to give more accurate responses.
Best of Luck!
The edit post button in the admin bar doesn’t work. Perhaps it should be replaced with an edit button on the post/reply itself so that we can edit it inline in the page.
Hello Ryan,
I think you’re presentation is also suitable for marketing (affiliate, SEO, social, etc.) conferences. As it is a highly competitive industry, depression is also at higher rates here.
I just returned home from Tesaffiliateconferences.com, which would have been a great host for your speech. Anyway, get in touch, and I will help you put together a list of conferences in SEO and Affiliate marketing to which you should pitch your presentation.

Salutare :)
Another forum seasoned user and owner here :)
By the way, GetButterfly’s work looks fantastic! Congrats!I don’t know if the “Site and Block Editor” forum would be the most appropriate, but I’d like to have a place to showcase new work and ask for suggestions on how to improve it.
